Notice the Voltage Sensing of Alt (Term2) is connected to a common power tie point, electrically closer (in voltage) to the Bat+ Terminal (this could
be considered  Remote V Sensing in cars where the two are separated by in some cases, a long wire run).  In the Sw-Em Alt kit installation, the
V Sensing is directly connected to the Bat+ Terminal of Alt. because of the short wire length between Alt and Bat.  This is referred to as
 Local V Sensing, and explained further at the links.
