Here are just some examples of why china sucks! ...those guys could f**k up a junkyard!
I have figured out what they sell at Harbor (sunken)Freight...after thinking about it for a while...and realizing that their stuff looks just like the real tools, which could actually be used in service to do WORK...they sell MOVIE PROPS!
...and here is why I didn't buy the chinashit clone (allegedly "fits Volvo") brake calipers:
Measured with a yardstick and precision machined by hand...the may fit, may not...yes, that how I want my brake equipment to work!!
Components consisting of six custom machined Stainless Steel pistons and rubber items Rebuild kit arrives from Vintage Imports. Matt there is highly experienced, having provided caliper rebuild services in the past, very pleasant to speak to regarding options on removing the pistons, and forthcoming with information from experience. I am happy to send my money on rebuild components where I can generate a rebuild of known providence, where I know what I have, instead of installing noname chinashit clone calipers...which don't even fit, as shown in this picture by Lars Rengersen...
I suspect they used this measurement device (if the decadent western pigs) when they were producing that caliper (but BEFORE they figured out how to use it!):
